Alek and Sarah connected on Hinge over their deep commitment to advocacy—Alek in social services, Sarah in public defense—as well as their quick wit and ability to make each other laugh. They also happened to be parenting two 8 ½-year-old cats, Mia and Bobby.
Over time, they bonded through hiking, wineries, breweries, and horror films, growing even closer as they met and cherished each other's family and friends. Before they knew it, they were co-purrenting in Curtis Park.
Alek proposed at Bear Lake in Estes Park over Valentine’s Day weekend. Just hours later, they received even bigger news—their little girl is due in September 2025. They can't wait to celebrate with you—the best is yet to come!
